About SUNNY SA

Sunny SA is a proudly South African Nissan 1400 parts and lifestyle brand built around one of the most iconic bakkies on our roads. What started as a simple idea to make reliable, affordable parts easier to access and has grown into something much bigger: a trusted hub for Nissan 1400 owners, builders, and enthusiasts.

We understand the Nissan 1400 because we’re part of the same community. These bakkies aren’t just vehicles...they’re daily workhorses, passion projects, and a way of life. Sunny SA was created to support that lifestyle by supplying quality parts, simplifying the buying process, and keeping these legends on the road for years to come.

The name “Sunny SA” is inspired by the global identity of the Nissan 1400, known as the “Sunny Truck,” combined with the resilience and spirit of South Africa. It represents reliability, simplicity, and pride in something that just works.

But Sunny SA isn’t only about parts. It’s about building a community—The Sunny Society—where owners can connect, learn, share, and keep the culture alive. From practical tips to real customer features, everything we do is grounded in authenticity and a genuine love for the Nissan 1400.

At its core, Sunny SA exists to keep it simple, keep it real, and keep the 1400 moving.
